Adding profiles if you are using Basic Interface
In Basic Interface it is possible to add profiles only to the beginning of the workflow. It is possible to initiate collecting into the campaign from different places of the instance:
- from the Campaign menu:
- from within the Workflow but only to the Queue of the first Action (as well as via Add more button):
- from the Lists tab of the campaign, where you can choose a needed list (Queue or Exclude) and click Add contacts button:
Do not be confused by the fact that you can start collecting process from several places. All the above-mentioned ways will allow you to add profiles into the campaign, there is no much difference between them, it's more for your convenience.
Once any of the above-shown buttons is pressed, a window of choosing the source of profiles will be shown.
There you can:
- choose any supported LinkedIn platform (provided that you already have a corresponding subscription) and navigate to the supported page, My Network page for example:
- filter (1) profiles in the built-in CRM, select them (2), and add to your campaign Queue or Exclude list:
- add profiles from any step / list of a campaign: just choose a campaign, choose what place you want to add profiles from (certain action list or the list of the whole campaign), click the list and then add:
Adding profiles if you are using Advanced Interface
In Advanced Interface it is possible to add profiles to any step of the workflow, not only to the beginning.
It is possible to initiate collecting into the campaign:
- from the Collect menu where you need to choose a Source (1) where profiles will be collected from, and a list in the Target (2) where profiles will be collected to:
- you can choose to collect profiles who commented or liked a post both via Basic and Advanced interfaces, but for this option to be available you need to open a post via its unique link, here is the link for more info.
- from within the Workflow, where you need to choose a Queue of needed action (1) or the very beginning of the campaign (2). Technically, there is no difference between Add more button at the beginning of the campaign and Queue of the very first action, since they are equal.
- from the Lists tab, where you can choose a needed list (Queue or Exclude) and click Add contacts button:
- via the Lists Manager function:
- in Source choose a Campaign where profiles will be copied from
- choose where you are going to add profiles: from a Campaign or Action list
- choose the list
- in Target choose a Campaign where profiles will be copied to
- choose where you are going to add profiles: from a Campaign or Action list
- choose the list
- click Add unique button
As with the Basic interface, all the above-mentioned ways will allow you to add profiles into the campaign, there is no much difference between them, it's more for your convenience.
Once any of the above-shown buttons is pressed, a window of choosing the source of profiles will be shown with the same functionality described in the Adding profiles if you are using Basic Interface section.
Adding profiles from within another list
There may be a situation when you need to copy profiles from a Campaign or Action list which you currently reviewing into another. For example, you just collected profiles from a certain company into the Exclude list of the current campaign and think they should be excluded from another campaign as well.
You can easily do that using Add to button (3), which is available from any list of any campaign. You can also filter profiles using built-in filters (1) and select all (2) or pick certain ones:
Then you will be able to choose a campaign and a list where those profiles must be added to:
And again, if you are using Advanced interface, you will be able to add profiles not only to the Campaign Queue or Exclude list, but to any Action Queue as well:
